The largest mammal on Earth is the blue whale (Balaenoptera musculus). It can reach lengths of around 20 to 30 meters (65 to 100 feet) and weigh up to approximately 190 to 200 tonnes (about 418,878 pounds or 200,000 to 430,000 pounds). The blue whale is also the largest animal known to have ever existed, surpassing even the largest dinosaurs in size.
