In Indiana, you can buy alcohol on Sundays, but store sales are limited to specific hours. Bars and restaurants follow different hours from retail stores.
Store purchase hours
On Sundays, carryout alcohol sales at liquor stores, grocery stores, convenience stores, and pharmacies are allowed only between noon (12 p.m.) and 8 p.m. local time. These limits apply to beer, wine, and spirits sold for off‑premises consumption.
Bar and restaurant sales
Bars and restaurants in Indiana may serve alcohol from 7 a.m. until 3 a.m. the next day, and this schedule applies every day of the week, including Sunday. The tighter Sunday restrictions apply only when you are buying alcohol to take with you, not when drinking on the premises.
