The Epstein files were publicly released by a US congressional panel on September 2, 2025. This release included over 33,000 pages of documents related to the federal investigation into Jeffrey Epstein, such as flight logs, jail surveillance recordings, court documents, audio files, and email correspondence. The House Oversight Committee made these files available online following a legal summons to the Department of Justice.

Additionally, on September 8, 2025, the Epstein estate released a "birthday book" given to Epstein in 2003 containing messages from acquaintances and a signature resembling that of former President Donald Trump.

Earlier in 2025, Attorney General Pamela Bondi had released a smaller set of declassified Epstein files, but the major bulk of documents from the investigation was released in September 2025 by the congressional committee.
