The Oscars ceremony is held at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, Los Angeles, California. This venue has hosted the Academy Awards since 2001 and was specifically designed for the Oscars broadcast. It is located within the Ovation Hollywood shopping center and can accommodate about 3,300 attendees. Prior to being called the Dolby Theatre, it was known as the Kodak Theatre. The Dolby Theatre remains the venue for the Oscars through at least 2028.
