where did pete hegseth serve

Pete Hegseth served as an infantry officer in the United States Army National Guard. His service included deployments at Guantanamo Bay Naval Base, Iraq, and Afghanistan. Specifically, he served at Guantanamo Bay with the New Jersey Army National Guard, was deployed as an infantry platoon leader in Baghdad, Iraq, and later served as a civil affairs officer in Samarra, Iraq.
