King Charles III currently lives at Clarence House in London with Queen Camilla. They are staying there while Buckingham Palace undergoes extensive renovations, which are expected to be completed by 2027. Clarence House has been his residence since 2003 and is located conveniently for royal engagements. In addition to Clarence House, King Charles has a country residence called Highgrove House in Gloucestershire, which he has cherished since purchasing it in 1980. He spends leisure time there and has developed its gardens extensively. King Charles also has official residences in Scotland, including the Palace of Holyroodhouse and occasionally stays at the Castle of Mey in northern Scotland.
