where does rosie o'donnell live

Rosie O'Donnell currently lives in Ireland. She moved there in January 2025 with her 12-year-old child, Clay, and initially settled in the coastal village of Howth, a suburb about 40 minutes from Dublin. Later, they moved to the Dublin coastal suburb of Sandymount, influenced by a local specialist school for her autistic child. She is in the process of acquiring Irish citizenship through her Irish grandparents. O'Donnell left the U.S. partly due to political reasons and seeks a peaceful environment for herself and her child. She sold her New York City penthouse after relocating and describes her life in Ireland as warm and welcoming despite the colder climate.
