where is bon aire

Bonaire is a Caribbean island located about 50 miles (80 km) north of the Venezuelan coast. It is part of the Leeward Antilles and is a special municipality of the Netherlands. Bonaire is one of the ABC islands, along with Aruba and Curaçao, positioned off the coast of Venezuela. The island is roughly 24 miles long and 3 to 7 miles wide, with a dry, arid climate ideal for snorkeling and scuba diving. Its capital is Kralendijk, situated on the west coast of the island.
