Ford is moving its world headquarters from the iconic "Glass House" building in Dearborn, Michigan, to a new site just a few miles away within Dearborn. The new headquarters, called Ford World Headquarters, will be located at the product development campus at 20901 Oakwood Blvd., near Greenfield Village, about a mile from the current location. The move is scheduled to be completed in the first half of 2026, with the building officially opening in November 2025. The new facility will double the size of the current headquarters, accommodate about 4,000 employees, and foster greater collaboration among engineering, design, and technology teams all in one location. The current Glass House, built in 1956, will be demolished after the move.
