Guinness is originally made at the historic St. James's Gate Brewery in Dublin, Ireland, where Arthur Guinness started brewing in 1759. This brewery remains the heart and soul of Guinness and houses the Guinness Storehouse visitor center. While Dublin is the birthplace and primary production site, Guinness is now brewed in nearly 50 countries around the world to serve global demand, including locations in Africa, Asia, and North America. However, the signature Guinness stout itself is still primarily brewed in Dublin to maintain its iconic quality and tradition.
