Lucindale is a small town located in the south-east region of South Australia. It is situated about 345 kilometers (214 miles) south-east of the state capital, Adelaide. The town lies within the Limestone Coast region and is part of the Naracoorte Lucindale Council area. Lucindale is known for its annual South East Field Days event, attracting many visitors each year. The town was established on January 25, 1877, and was named after Lady Jeannie Lucinda Musgrave, the wife of the Governor of South Australia at that time. Lucindale is a rural community with various local amenities and is positioned roughly halfway between Naracoorte and Kingston South East along the Reedy Creek Lucindale Road.
