where is the un general assembly

The United Nations General Assembly meets in the General Assembly Building, which is part of the United Nations headquarters in the Turtle Bay neighborhood of Manhattan, New York City. The headquarters is located along the East River in Manhattan, with the site bounded by First Avenue, 42nd Street, the East River, and 48th Street. Although physically within the United States, the land is under UN jurisdiction and considered international territory. The General Assembly Building houses the main assembly hall where the member states meet for their sessions.
