where is western university

Western University, also known as the University of Western Ontario, is located in London, Ontario, Canada. Its main campus is situated on 455 hectares (1,120 acres) of land, bordered by residential neighborhoods and bisected by the Thames River on the eastern portion of the campus. The university is part of the southwestern end of the Quebec City–Windsor Corridor and is about two hours west of Toronto. It is a public research university and one of Canada's leading institutions with a diverse student body and extensive academic offerings.
