Charlie Kirk was shot at Utah Valley University during a speaking event. The shooting took place in the outdoor courtyard known as the "quad," and the bullet was fired from a rooftop approximately 150 yards away from where Kirk was speaking. The shooter was positioned on the roof of the Losee Center, a building overlooking the area where Kirk was addressing the crowd. The suspect, identified as 22-year-old Tyler Robinson, was tracked moving across campus, through stairwells, and up to the rooftop from which the shot was fired. After shooting Kirk, Robinson fled by jumping off the roof and escaping into a nearby wooded area. The shooting occurred at around 12:23 p.m. local time on September 10, 2025, at Utah Valley University in Orem, Utah, during an event with approximately 3,000 attendees.
