Advil is currently owned by Haleon, a British multinational consumer healthcare company. Haleon was formed as a corporate spin-off from GSK in July 2022. The brand Advil was originally part of Pfizer's consumer healthcare products, but Pfizer and GSK combined their consumer healthcare businesses into a joint venture in 2019 that later became Haleon. Pfizer has since sold its entire stake in Haleon by early 2025, making Haleon the primary owner of Advil now.
