Electronic Arts (EA) is now owned by a consortium including Saudi Arabia's Public Investment Fund (PIF), the private equity firm Silver Lake, and Affinity Partners, led by Jared Kushner. This group acquired EA for $55 billion in a leveraged buyout announced in September 2025, which will take the company private, removing it from the public stock market. The Saudi PIF, which already held about 10% of EA before the acquisition, will be the predominant investor in the new private ownership structure.
