Slack is owned by Salesforce. Salesforce acquired Slack Technologies in a deal announced on December 1, 2020, for approximately $27.7 billion, and the acquisition was completed on July 21, 2021. Since then, Slack has been part of Salesforce, combining with its CRM and other services.
