Annex A of Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE) is a condensed version of Part One of the guidance. The decision on who should read Annex A versus the full Part One is made by the governing body or proprietor of the school or college based on which version they think will better enable those staff to safeguard and promote the welfare of children.

- All staff who work directly with children.
