The song "How Can You Mend a Broken Heart" was written by Barry Gibb and Robin Gibb of the Bee Gees. Maurice Gibb is also credited as a co-writer on the 2009 release of the song. The song was written in August 1970 and originally offered to Andy Williams, but the Bee Gees ended up recording it themselves.
