Mark Sanchez got stabbed during a violent altercation in Indianapolis that started over a parking situation. Sanchez approached a 69-year-old grease truck driver who was delivering used frying oil to a hotel loading dock. Sanchez allegedly confronted the driver, told him he was not allowed to park there, and even entered the cab of the truck. The driver tried to leave but Sanchez blocked him and pushed him during the dispute. The driver first used pepper spray on Sanchez but when Sanchez continued to advance, the driver stabbed him in self-defense, fearing for his life. Sanchez was hospitalized with stab wounds and later arrested on misdemeanor charges including battery, unlawful entry, and public intoxication. The stabbing was not a random act but occurred during this personal confrontation.
