Hill Dickinson Stadium is the new football stadium for Everton FC, located at Bramley-Moore Dock on the banks of the River Mersey in Liverpool. It replaced Everton's former home, Goodison Park, after 133 years. The stadium holds 52,769 spectators, making it one of the largest stadiums in England, and was completed in late 2024, ready for the 2025/26 season. Its architecture combines a historic brick base referencing Liverpool’s industrial heritage with a modern metallic upper tier. The stadium's construction was a major factor in Liverpool being removed from the UNESCO World Heritage list due to its location in a protected historic area. The stadium was named Hill Dickinson Stadium in May 2025 after Hill Dickinson, a Liverpool-based international law firm founded in 1810, which acquired the naming rights. This partnership reflects the firm's local roots and global reach, aligning with Everton's international profile. The new stadium features a fan plaza, safe- standing areas, and preserves historic dock elements as a tribute to Liverpool's maritime legacy. It is also planned as a venue for UEFA Euro 2028 and other major events. The stadium's first competitive match was a Premier League game in August 2025, where Everton won 2-0 against Brighton & Hove Albion. The stadium represents both a forward-looking development and a celebration of Everton’s history and the local context.
