Here’s a super easy way to draw a cute snowflake.
- Draw the main lines
- Draw one straight vertical line.
- Draw one straight horizontal line across its middle.
- Now add two diagonal lines through the middle so you end up with 6 evenly spaced lines like a star.
- Add the “branches”
- At the end of each line, draw a small V shape, with the point of the V touching the line.
- Halfway along each line, add another small V pointing outward.
- Keep all the little Vs the same size so it looks neat and symmetrical.
- Clean it up and decorate
- Go over your favorite lines with a darker pen or marker.
- Erase any extra guidelines.
- If you like, add tiny circles or dots at the tips or in the center to make it look more decorative.
