Grand Teton National Park is located in the northwestern region of the U.S. state of Wyoming. It lies just south of Yellowstone National Park and north of the town of Jackson, Wyoming. The park covers approximately 310,000 acres and includes the major peaks of the Teton Range as well as much of the northern Jackson Hole valley. The park is connected to Yellowstone National Park by the John D. Rockefeller Jr. Memorial Parkway. Grand Teton National Park is about 290 miles from Salt Lake City, Utah, and about 550 miles from Denver, Colorado by road.
