The creator of "Alice in Borderland" is Haro Aso. He wrote and illustrated the original Japanese manga series. The manga was serialized from 2010 to 2016 and later adapted into a live-action television series directed by Shinsuke Sato, which premiered on Netflix in 2020. Haro Aso is also known for basing some of the main characters of the series on himself, drawing from his own life experiences.
